#KART4LIFE 2024 - Petit Le Mans : TRAFFORD

The Petit Le Mans (French for little Le Mans) is our latest KART4LIFE event, and just like the American sports car race, this has been created in the spirit of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.

​Racing teams must balance the demands of speed with endurance karting ability to run for 10 hours without stopping. It’s all about strategy, pit stops and working together, with the team who completes the most laps taking the chequered flag!

Held at the 450m circuit at TeamSport Trafford Park, Manchester!

#KART4LIFE events are all about having a great time and most importantly raising funds and awareness for a chosen charity, this event is no different and we are fundraising for the fantastic Manchester Childrens Hospital charity.

The charity exists to enhance the experience of the 280,000 children cared for by Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital each and every year. 

Their aims are very straightforward: to support excellence in the treatment, research and care that they provide to young patients, now and always. They aim to make a real difference to the children and young people in their care by ensuring they continue to receive the highest quality treatment in the highest quality facilities.

We have set an 16-team capacity for this event, each team must have a minimum of 4 drivers and a maximum of 10 drivers. This is where strategy will come into play, will the undercut through less pitstops lead to victory or will fresh drivers provide relentless hotlaps and the speed to win?

Prices:

£400 per team (See below for breakdown)

+ £200 suggested sponsorship target per team

A deposit of £250 per team is required to secure a place (due at point of registering), with the remaining balance (£150) due by the 27th February 2024.

Price per driver:

Based on 4 drivers = £100pp (2.5hrs on track pp)

Based on 10 drivers = £40pp (1hr on track pp)

When booking onto the event there are two payment options avaliable. Paying rhe deposit or paying in full. Both secure your team place on the event, but the deposit option allows more time to pay in full. Collection of the balance for teams that have paid the deposit will be arranged in February 2024. 

Helmets, race suits and gloves are provided at the track, all drivers will need to wear a balaclava, you can purchase a reusable cotton one for £3.50 upon arrival if you don't have your own.
