Kart4Life - PETIT LE MANS

The Petit Le Mans (French for little Le Mans) is our latest KART4LIFE event, and just like the American sports car race, this has been created in the spirit of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans.

​Racing teams must balance the demands of speed with endurance karting ability to run for 10 hours without stopping. It’s all about strategy, pit stops and working together, with the team who completes the most laps taking the chequered flag!

Held at the 1000m international circuit at TeamSport Warrington, this track offers three levels, including a flyover and the longest Monaco-style tunnel anywhere in the country. Long, speed-gathering straights. A whopping 35 turns, including everything from gentle sweeps to hairpins and chicanes. What more could you want? To be crowned KART4LIFE Petit Le Mans champion!

This event includes a generous 100 minute practice/qualifying session on top of the 10 hour non-stop race at the 1000m (1 kilometre-long) international circuit. We are throwing everything at this one, make sure to sign up and get involved!

#KART4LIFE events are all about having a great time and most importantly raising funds and awareness for a chosen charity, this event is no different and we are fundraising for the fantastic #ANDYSMANCLUB charity.

Who are ANDYSMANCLUB?

This movement “Andy’s Man Club”, is a space for men to talk about their problems without judgement or feeling like a burden.

What started as a small support group in Halifax has ballooned into a Facebook group of thousands, with more clubs to be set up across the UK. The associated campaign, #itsokaytotalk, has drawn support from prominent celebrities including Danny Cipriani and Ricky Gervais.

Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45.

This movement wants to stop that.

They are talking groups for men and have them all over the U.K, with groups held in Leeds, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Bradford and across the UK.

We have set an 18-team capacity for this event, each team must have a minimum of 4 drivers and a maximum of 10 drivers. This is where strategy will come into play, will the undercut through less pitstops lead to victory or will fresh drivers provide relentless hotlaps and the speed to win?

Prices:

£400 per team (See below for breakdown)

+ £200 suggested sponsorship target per team

A deposit of £200 per team is required to secure a place (due at point of registering), with the remaining balance (£200) due before the 27th October 2022.

Price per driver:

Based on 4 drivers = £100pp (2.5hrs on track pp)

Based on 10 drivers = £40pp (1hr on track pp)

Helmets, race suits and gloves are provided at the track, all drivers will need to wear a balaclava, you can purchase a reusable cotton one for £3.50 upon arrival if you don't have your own.
