Date - 07/02/2023
Time - 19:00
Location - TeamSport Indoor Karting Leeds

Sixty Two Drivers, a mixture of ambulance service staff, amateur karters & some of the country’s finest racers descended upon Leeds for our 4-hour charity endurance race in aid of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity.

It was lights out just after 8pm, the drivers completed their first laps with PorscheSport taking an early lead, 10 seconds clear of Team Rags to Rich's in P2 and JCT600 in P3. YAS Teams The Bradford Bandits, Kart4Life Crew & Kartiac Arrest struggled in the early stages and sat at the bottom of the standings.

As the first hour past and the first pit window opened PorscheSport held a 8 second lead over BrexitMeansBrexit, with Simbo Racing in P3 closely followed by Scuderia LHC, TSLeeds39ers and Team Rags to Rich's completing the top 6. The Bradford Bandits had pulled themselves up to P9 12 seconds clear of The Kart4Life Crew in P10.

Approaching the halfway mark PorscheSport were holding firm in P1 with some extreme consistency 24 seconds clear of Scuderia LHC who had fought through to P2, Simbo Racing in P3. Meanwhile the Kart4Life Crew had made it to P8, nearly 2 laps clear of the Bradford Bandits in P10 and Kartiac Arrest in P12.

Inevitably PorscheSport took the Chequered flag, followed by Scuderia LHC in P2 and Simbo racing completing the podium in P3. The Kart4Life Crew finished best of the YAS teams in P6, having fought light hell to close in and take the position in the final hour. It was the first time the team had beaten the Bradford bandits on track, having been so close the previous week.
