About Us
WHO ARE WE
The YAS Football & KART4LIFE Charity Events group is a staff wellbeing initiative founded in October 2017 by Oliver Dean, a Service Development Officer from the Integrated Urgent Care department of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
The aim is simple, to help raise staff morale and bring around a bit of healthy competition in the workplace during a period of such demand for the NHS. We are a large organization covering all corners of the Yorkshire and Humber region and with the shared love of Football and Motorsport we are bringing different parts of the service together.
Through these events we try to raise funds for worthwhile local causes and great charities across the region. To date we have been fortunate enough to have raised a total of:

This has been raised from a combination of charity football matches and tournaments as well as our hugely successful KART4LIFE indoor karting events (the purpose of this website).
Despite loosing over a year of fundraising due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic we are determined to make up for lost time
#KART4LIFE EVENTS
Our charity karting events are named #Kart4Life simply due to the lifesaving charities we raise funds for, including the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity.
The fantastic work that they do funding community defibrillators and facilitating CPR training across Yorkshire is quite literally helping to save lives across the region by enabling everyone to respond in a medical emergency.
By taking part in our events you will be literally karting to raise money which will go towards saving lives, hence the name Kart4Life!
580 metres of jaw-dropping straights, hair-raising bridges, and awesome tunnels, promises a circuit that takes indoor karting to the next level.
TeamSport Leeds (our home track) has the longest indoor karting track in Yorkshire, this tarmac utopia is primed and ready to crown the next KART4LIFE champion!
Profits from all KART4LIFE events go to fantastic local lifesaving charities including the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity

Founder and brains behind YAS Football & KART4LIFE initiatives.
This bloke works tirelessly on designing new events and
developing technical innovations that make our events come alive.
He also does all our graphic design work and is usually the person managing our social media..

Josh Ball
Co-founder of YAS Football, from the initial conversation in October 2017, to being team captain of the first charity football match and taking part in the original KART4LIFE race back in 2019!.
Despite moving on from YAS, Josh has remained steadfast in his support of our cause, and has recently taken the helm as pundit in our Blue Light Race.

YAS Football Club mascot, future YouTube sensation and absolute legend.
This dude has cheered us on at games and is often seen carrying the collecting tin raising money while we compete on the pitch!
